A small amount of organic cane alcohol may be detected in our tinctures because it is the only way to extract many of the medicinal compounds (terpenes and triterpenoids) from certain mushrooms. We then use a process to evaporate the alcohol out of the product. Very little remains, but the levels of organic cane alcohol are well below tolerance levels and are safe for your pet. Keep in mind that organic cane alcohol is regulated by the FDA as a safe food ingredient.
